The "Team" (Mostly Just Us With Grease Under Our Fingernails)
Look, we aren’t a bunch of tech bros in silicon valley sitting on beanbags sipping some health smoothy. We’re car enthusiasts, plain and simple. We spend our weekends with skinned knuckles, bruises and broke, buried under bonnets. Between us, we’ve owned everything from "reliable daily drivers" that died at every roundabout, to project cars that have been "two weeks away from finished" for the last three years. We drink tea with two sugars (or the odd coffee if you're offering) and a sandwich with a smear of grease on it for lunch
We started LikeMyWheels because we got tired of the same old problem at every car meet/track day/car show: someone asks what turbo you’re running, and you have to spend twenty minutes digging through your phone for photos and then have to look in the boot for the spec sheet you wrote on the back of a greasy takeaway menu.
Why Is This Free?
Because we know where your money is actually going. It’s going into that new set of coilovers, the remap you told your partner was "for fuel efficiency," and the endless supply of brake cleaner.
We wanted to build something for the community that actually works. A way to show off your build without being that person who prints out a laminated A4 sheet and props it against the windscreen like a museum exhibit from the last century! We provide the platform and the tech for free because we actually give a damn about the scene.
Our Mission (If You Can Call It That)
Our goal is simple: Less talk, more torque. We’ve integrated with a global Print On Demand service so you can get high-quality qr codes delivered to your door without us having to lick stamps in a kitchen all night. We’ve kept the tech side as sleek as we can so you can easily and quickly create a properly customizable profile for your car and get back to what matters — your car.
